In-Race Psychology: Coping When the Marathon Gets Hard
At some point, every marathon becomes mentally challenging.
Fatigue builds, discomfort increases, focus drifts, and doubts appear. This session explores what happens psychologically during the race, and how runners can respond more effectively under pressure.
Grounded in applied sport psychology and acceptance-based approaches, the session reflects the realities of marathon racing at all levels, from first timers to elite competition.
